TRAINING
We believe that it is a horse's job to do as the
owner wishes, but it is our job to care for the
horse and to teach the owner to "bring it all
together".

Daily handling and insisting on proper
manners leads to better animal behavior.
When horses are here, they are taught to come
to us because we make it pleasant for them.
Consistent pressure and release training
techniques eliminates any abusive and
punishment-releated actions.

We strongly believe and encourage a horse to
respect people and behave accordingly.  We
will not, however, tolerate any unwarranted or
harsh treatment of an animal.
OUR BASIC HANDLING PRACTICES
1.  Rude behavior from the horse is corrected immediately.
2.  Lack of response by the horse to any corrections will mean freedom is relinquished.
3.  Aggressive behavior in the horse is corrected by eliminating all freedoms.
4.  Positive response to training is rewarded immediately by making the horse "feel good"
(releasing any tensions, patting the neck, brushing the coat, etc.) and finishing the lesson.
5.  Daily training session lengths are varied, but are never completed until the horse responds
   to technique.
6.  Before a horse is "graduated" from the program, the owner is educated in techniques
used to gain positive response from the horse.
